About Me Welcome! My name is Megan Eisenbacher and the new 3rd grade teacher at Plato Academy Clearwater. This will be my second year teaching and my first year at Plato Academy. I am very excited to have your children in my class! I have joined this school as a partner in your child’s education.
I am a New Yorker. I lived the majority of my life an hour north of New York City in a small town named Goshen. I moved to the Tampa Bay area last year. I received my Bachelor’s degrees in Elementary and Special Education. I have received a second degree in Spanish as well as a Master’s in ESOL. I frequently travel to New York on holiday breaks. When I am not traveling or teaching, I love Dunkin Donuts coffee and I'm an avid reader. I especially love to read at the beach! I also enjoy drawing and painting in my spare time. |
This year I will be the science teacher. I will meet with all of your children throughout each day for both science and health. I will also facilitate small group literacy instruction. I will meet with my homeroom class for Social Studies. Your children will see Mrs. Harvey for Math and Ms. Sawyer for Language Arts. We have high expectations for every student, but the classroom will always be filled with creativity and fun! I will also to the best of my abilities provide individualized attention to ensure every student has the opportunity to perform their best!
Communication between parents and staff is just as important as the learning process. I want to ensure your child’s experience at school is successful every day. Please voice your concerns to or me as soon as they arise. I will be sure to keep you updated on your child with progress reports, emails, or phone calls, and my teacher website. The best way to reach me would be through my school email [email protected] or by calling the school phone, (727) 228-9517.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation. I consider it a great privilege and responsibility to be your child’s teacher. I am thrilled to be a TITAN! It is going to be a fantastic year and I look forward to getting to know each of you!
Best Wishes,
Ms. Megan Eisenbacher
